Vince Zampella, Dies in an LA Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The renowned game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
