The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
