Devoted followers of the pop star are calling for that a person who breached a fence and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing media personnel and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade flanked by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records revealed that he was scheduled to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last winter.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," commented an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many followers blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote another response on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others demanded social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Numerous of supporters had congregated in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the sequel of a two-part version of the well-known stage production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two contrasting sorceresses.

The show itself is a derivative of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, securing several for outstanding attire and production design.
